Synthesis of sulphonic acid functionalized SBA-15 materials and its catalytic activity in esterification of lauric acid |
| 초록 |
The direct incorporation of acid functional groups into the mesoporous SBA-15 framework has been synthesized by using 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS) in the presence of triblock copolymer in microwave heating under strong acidic conditions. All sulphonic acid functionalized SBA-15 catalysts were characterized with XRD, N2 adsorption/desorption and SEM analysis. The physico-chemical characterizations revealed that the presence of well ordered with narrow pore size distribution. The sulphonic acid functionalized SBA-15 catalysts were tested in esterification of lauric acid with propylene glycol under solvent free conditions. |
