The thermal properties of biodegradable poly(p-dioxanone), PPDO |
초록 |
In this study, we investigated two kinds of thermal properties of the biodegradable poly(p-dioxanone), PPDO. One is the evaluation of thermal stability according to the content of the catalyst, Sn(II) ethylhexanoate using Thermogravimetric Analyzer(TGA), and the other is the study of crystallization according to the content of pigment using Differential Scanning Calorimeter(DSC). For the evaluation of thermal stability, we analyzed the activation energy through the kinetic study. And for the study of crystallization, we used the isothermal and dynamic experiments together. To confirm Sn contents in the PPDO prepared by the ring-opening polymerization, we also used the ICP-AES. The thermal stability of PPDO was in inverse proportion to the content of Sn, and there seemed to be a proper content for PPDO. And the higher the content of pigment was, the faster the crystallization speed was. |
