Crosslinked Sulfonated Poly(phenylene sulfide sulfone nitrile) (SPSSN) and Their Performance for Fuel Cell |
| 초록 |
SPSSN membranes fabricated in our previous study exhibit high proton transfer properties. However, non-crosslinked SPSSN membranes have relatively lower dimensional stability and methanol barrier property by excessive water swelling. In this study, crosslinked SPSSN membranes with various degree of sulfonation were prepared to reduce water swelling via Friedel-Craft reaction using dicarboxylic acid as a crosslinker. Crosslinked SPSSN membrane showed good dimensional stability and methanol barrier property without significant decrease of single cell performance in DMFC. |
