제목 Synthesis of biocompatible iron oxide nanoparticles using poly(amino acid)s derivatives
초록 Poly(amino acid)s have found increasing interest as carriers of biologically active agent because they have structure that can be potentially degraded by proteolytic enzymes in the body. Poly(amino acid)s would seem to have significant advantages over other polymers owing to their protein-like structure, water-solubility and absence of toxicity, antigenicity and immunogenicity. The biocompatible and water dispersible poly(amino acid) derivative was synthesized to act as the capping ligand of iron oxide nanoparticles. The different sized-iron oxide nanoparticlesprotected by poly(amino acid) derivatives was successfully synthesized for bio-application such as MRI.The hydrophilic poly(amino acid)s conjugatediron oxidenanoparticles form small spherical structure in aqueous solutions.
