A facile synthesis of the core-shell structured halide perovskite nanowire |

All inorganic perovskite cesium lead halide nanocrystals (NC) have been widely investigated as promising materials for optoelectronic application because of the unique optical properties such as high color purity and high photoluminescence (PL) efficiency. However, perovskite crystals are unstable to moisture and heat due to their intrinsic ionic nature and also the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of the optoelectronic device is low as a result of the surface defects. Core-shell structure can helps stabilize the NC surface and impede ion migration and also enhance the EQE of the optoelectronic device by passivating the surface defects. In this study, we report a method to reduce the surface defects by capping CsPbBr3 nanowires with PbS and PbSe. Core-shell structured halide perovskite nanowires were synthesized via a facile hot injection method and also the effect of each precursor on nanowire formation was studied. |
