Facile Synthesis of Pd nanoparticles decorated amine functionalized 3D metal organic framework MIL-101(Cr) and their application for nitrite detection |

An electrochemical sensor based on Pd nanoparticle-supported amine functionalized metal-organic framework-modified screen printed carbon electrode (Pd/NH2-MIL-101(Cr)/SPCE) was prepared by a facile synthetic route. Nitrite was chosen as a model analyte to evaluate the electron transfer performance of the resulting Pd/NH2-MIL-101(Cr)/SPCE. Under the optimal conditions, the oxidation current increased linearly with increasing nitrite concentration in the range, 5-150 nM, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9821 and a detection limit of 1.3 nM. The fabricated sensor was applied to the detection of nitrite in sausage and pickle samples. This paper not only proposes a useful method for nitrite sensors, but also reveals the great potential of metal-organic framework-based hybrid materials as an excellent electrode material. |
