Synthesis and Characterization of Poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether) |

At the meeting the synthesis and characterization of poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether) (hereafter: PPE) will be discussed. The optimistic experimental condition in PPE synthesis was investigated and reported from previous conference. The effects of the organic solvents and methanol with the various volume ratios were investigated under the optimistic experimental conditionto find out the most effective solvent. Thus, the novel ligands and catalysts were used in PPE synthesis. Measuring the amount of DPQ by UV and molecular weight by GPC of all synthesized PPE will be analyzed. |
