제목 Comparison of Thermal Degradation Properties of Oil Palm EFB and Teak Saw Dust.
초록 Biomass has become one of the most reliable energy resources to reduce the dependency of fossil fuel and energy crisis. Since the knowledge about the thermal degradation properties is important to improving utilization of OPEFB(oil palm Empty Fruit Bunch) and Teak sawdust as resource of fuel, this study were conducted to determine thermal degradation properties of OPEFB and Teak sawdust by using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The removal of extractives by various pretreatments resulted in improved thermal stability of OPEFB fiber and Teak sawdust by increasing onset degradation temperature (To).
