제목 Isothermal Crystallization Kinetics of Poly (butylene succinate) / the surface modified Montmorillonite nanocomposites
초록 The crystallization behavior and fine structure of Poly (butylenes succinate)(PBS)/the surface treated clay by the urethane group (30BM) nanocomposites were assessed via DSC and compared with PBS/30B nanocomposites and PBS/10A nanocomposites. 30B clay showed the most nucleation activity. Generally, The Avrami exponent n value is not only increased with increasing crystallization temperature but also with increasing clay contents at same crystallization temperature. The equilibrium melting temperature, Tm0 of PBS/clay nannocompositesis is similar to that of Homo PBS, indicating there is no change in the crystal perfection of the nanocomposites due to clay exfoliation in PBS matrix. However, 30BM can’t efficiently act as nucleation agent because the urethane group on clay surface hinders nucleus activation.
