제목 Spectroscopic Analysis for Crystallization Behavior of Polypyrrole Nanoparticle/Poly (vinyl alcohol) Nanocomposite
초록 Isothermal crystallization behavior of polypyrrole nanoparticle (PPy NP) filled polymer nanocomposite was investigated using FT-IR spectroscopy. The FT-IR analysis indicates that the relative degree of crystallization of PPy NP/PVA composite is higher than that of neat PVA after isothermal crystallization process. The low amount (~ 1 wt%) of PPy NPs acted as a effective nucleating agent, and the hydrogen bonding between PPy NP and PVA enhances the nucleation activity. This is first demonstration that the degree of crystallization and crystallization rate can be increased by adding the nano-sized amorphous polymer into the crystalline polymer. POM and XRD analysis also revealed that the PPy NPs played a role in nucleating agent during the isothermal crystallization process.
