제목 Functionalization of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes using Nitrene Chemistry for the Dielectric Elastomer Actuators
초록 An effective technique of using nitrene reaction to obtain high performance dielectic elastomer nanocomposites is presented. Silicon-grafted-multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) dielectric fillers are synthesized by the covalent functionalization of MWCNT with silicon, and subsequently the Silicon-g-MWCNTs as reinforcing filler was incorporated into a dielectric elastomer matrix by solution casting. The Silicon-g-MWCNTS has shown excellent interaction with the dielectric polymer, and therefore, the properties of dielectric elastomer composites are enhanced significantly.
