As the result of the rapid development of using wireless technology, the electromagnetic (EM) radiation has increased significantly leading the phenomenon of EM interference (EMI). In this work, we developed EM absorbing material based on graphene/mesoporous magnetic silica particles (GAMS). GAMS were synthesized by amidation reaction of amine- functionalized magnetic silica particles (AMS) in the presence of hydrophilic GO obtained from a modified Hummer method. The layer structure of GAMS was confirmed by SEM with the successful coating of AMS on the wrinkle surface of graphene oxide sheet. Besides, GAMS performed good electrical conductivity by 8.6 S/m compared to GO by 3.2 S/m. For EM absorption measurement, GAMS was well dispersed in epoxy resin matrix by the weight ratio of 20% at different thickness of absorbers. After that, the EM absorbing performance was investigated by the help of Hewlett-Packard E8362B network analyzer in X range frequency (8.4-12.4 GHz). |
