제목 Mesoporous melamine glyoxal resin as an efficientCarbon dioxide adsorbent
초록 The increasing Carbon dioxide concentration in atmosphere has drawn great attention towards contemporary research focused on ways to control it levels. Nowadays, CO2 capture has attracted attention due to the potential to trap and sequester its concentration from flue gas. Traditional technology is based on absorption in aqueous amine solution. Recently, functionalized amino silicas have been used for CO2 capture, but associated with a drawback of no of active adsorption sites. In here we report the CO2 capture behavior of melamine resins synthesized by using silica templates. The adsorption properties of CO2 capture by these materials are attributed to the large surface area and high nitrogen content. The materials are characterized by spectroscopic methods, XRD pattern and Brunauer-Emmet-Teller surface area by nitrogen adsorption desorption isotherm.
