Nafion/sulfonated polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (sPOSS) polyelectrolytes for direct methanol fuel cell |
초록 |
Nafion based organic/inorganic nanocomposite membranes have attracted for candidate polyelectrolytes of direct methanol fuel cell to enhance the proton conductivity while reducing the methanol permeability compared to Nafion membrane. In this study, the octaphenyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS) was modified with chlorosulfonic acid and then, the Nafion/sulfonated polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(sPOSS) nanocomposite membranes were fabricated with the increase of sPOSS. The effect of the modified sPOSS on the proton conductivity and the MeOH crossover was investigated. And the morphology as well as mechanical and thermal property was also characterized by dispersion and contents of sPOSS in Nafion/sPOSS. |
