Effective method for preparing thin separators is phase inversion. But, separators made from phase inversion generally results in bad cell performance, since this separators generally have uneven pore size and pore size distribution. So, by incorporating 2 dimensional graphene oxide sheets in the frame of poly(vinylidene fl uoride- co -hexafl uoropropylene) (PVdF-HFP) from a simple one-step solution coating method, It is demonstrated that the drawbacks of phase-inversion- based separators for Li-ion batteries are solved. Additionally generated pores by the inclusion of graphene oxide in PVdF-HFP frame can generate improved ionic transport pathways and good cell performances of Li ion battery better than those of commercialized polyethylene separators. Furthemore, the addition of a dash of graphene oxide sheets in PVdF-HFP separators supports thermally stable. |
