제목 Infrared optical properties of DNA-Lanthanide complexes
초록 The optical phonon properties of materials are important to determining the rate of phonon quenching that would be expected in their application for infrared optical amplification. Here we present the infrared optical spectra, as measured by FT-IR, for Eu, Er, Tb, and Sm(III) complexed with DNA into biopolymers. The polymers' suitability for infrared optical amplification is quantified.
