Formation of nanoimprinted CdS nanorods |

We investigate the fabrication method of CdS films and nanorods as window layer on the ITO substrate by electrodeposition. We can obtain optimized growth condition of CdS films in the electrodepositing at the -0.7V. It is shown that the morphology of CdS films can be improved by adding surfactant (Cetyltrimethtylamminium Bromide(CTAB)) into the electrolyte. In addition, the surface morphology and crystallinity of synthesized CdS films can be improved by removing the particle on the CdS layer using ultrasonic cleaning and thermal annealing. In parallel with fabrication of CdS layer we also set CdS nanorods up on the ITO glass. We expect that CdS nanorods structure would be applied to hybrid solar cells (inorganic-organic) for high efficiency. |
