제목 | Preparation and Characterization of Iron Impregnated Gadolinium-Graphene Oxide as an Efficient Adsorbent for the Removal of Arsenic(V) |
초록 | Graphene oxide (GO) is consisting of various functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, and epoxy groups. However, gadolinium based nanocomposites have been applied for waste water treatment. In this study, iron impregnated Gadolinium-Graphene Oxide (FeGO-Gd) was synthesized following an oxidation and iron impregnation of Gadolinium-Graphene Oxide(FeGO-Gd). FeGO-Gd were characterized by XPS,XRD,SEM and FTIR spectroscopy. The removal of Arsenic by FeGO-Gd was examined under various experimental conditions. The reaction kinetics was well fitted on pseudo–second order. Acknowledgement.
