제목 | Electrical Property of Carbon Nanotube Added Polyvinyldene-fluoride and Spontaneous poling by Spray-Coating Process |
초록 | Polymer dielectric material has been used because of its high dielectric breakdown voltage and high elongation property. Polyvinyldene fluoride (PVDF) has a high dielectric constant among polymers. PVDF have been found up to now four different crystal structures: α-phase (FormⅠ); β-phase (FormⅡ); γ-phase (Form Ⅲ); δ-phase (Form Ⅳ). Because of the significant piezoelectric property in β-phase PVDF film, the β-phase of PVDF film is very important at the application of actuator. The β-phase PVDF film can be fabricated by stretching four times orientation along with length direction or by polling process applied high voltage. These methods might be disadvantage due to complicated process, increasing cost and process time for the manufacture of large area β-phase PVDF film. Spray-coating, one of fabricated polymer film methods, can be easily fabricated β-phase PVDF film without other process. Besides, this method induces the spontaneous poling effect estimated streaming electrification phenomenon. The streaming electrification have been found for insulated liquid flow through insulated solid surface, and dielectric dipole in the PVDF is oriented by this phenomenon. In this work, the PVDF films were fabricated by Spray-coating method. A carbon nanotube (CNT) was included as additive into the PVDF solution for the improved electrical property and strength. And, N-methyl-2-pyrroli-done (NMP) was used as a dispersant of CNT because of the difficulty of mixing. For comparison, the PVDF films were fabricated other coating process. Consequentially, the electrical properties were enhanced by adding CNT. |
