Most of mass production of silver coatings has been using electrodeposition because of its cheap equipment investment cost and productivity. Nowadays, not only Europe, but also most countries is becoming aware of environmental issues, therefore industry trying to use alternative technologies and sputtering is one of the most prime technique. Hence, we compared with the electrode position and sputtering. The characteristic evaluation of coatings was separately analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM). micro-Vickers hardness tester, roughness tester and nano-scratch tester. Consequently, sputtering has more high quality coating layer in various properties. |
