Synthesis ofthe amine-functionalized silica/protein hybrid nanoparticles for lipaseimmobilization |
초록 |
Enzyme immobilization is a promising method for the application of enzymes in industrial scale. Immobilization may result in improved stability and reusability of the enzymes. Silica nanoparticles are promising candidates for enzyme immobilization because of their thermal and mechanical stability and large surface area to volume ratio. The surface of silica nanoparticles can be easily modified with amine groups. Amine-functionalized silica supports can be activated by glutaraldehyde (GA) which covalently bonds enzyme. Silk sericin (SS) showed remarkable synthesis ability of the silica at mild conditions. Also SS is favored in enzyme immobilization because of their hydrophilicity. In this study, we synthesized the amine-functionalized silica/sericin hybrid nanoparticles using silica precursors and sericin. We examined the size, morphology and composition of the prepared nanoparticles. We also evaluate the relative activity of the immobilized lipase on the prepared supports. |
