제목 Effect of Co-Solvents on the Electrical Conductivity of Conducting Polymers Synthesized by Vapor-Deposition Polymerization
초록 Polypyrrole was coated on cellulose membrane via vapor-deposition polymerization, leading to the formation of electrically conductive polymer membranes. Such membranes have advantages such as mechanical flexibility, large surface-to-volume ratio, and good redox properties. In this work, we investigated the effect of co-solvents on the conductivity of the polypyrrole-coated membranes. Several different kinds of solvents were co-vaporized with pyrrole monomer during the polymerization process. The chemical oxidation polymerization of pyrrole monomer proceeded on the cellulose membrane, and the electrical conductivity and redox properties of the resulting membranes were systematically examined.
