Surface properties of hydrophobic polyimide film modified by fluorination |
초록 |
Polyimides (PIs) are well known for their excellent mechanical properties,chemical/thermalstabilities, low thermal expansion coefficient and low-dielectric constant. However, conventional PIs are insufficient for insulating applications due to their high moisture absorption rate. The novel hydrophobic PI film was successfully prepared via sequent spin coating, imidization and direct gas fluorination. The fluorinated PI film had higher water contact angle, lower surface energy and polarity than conventional PI. Moreover the hydrophobicity ofPI films increase with increasing fluorine gas pressure. These are attributed to generation of fluorine functional group on surface. |
