Synthesis and characterization of self-healable polymethacrylate derivatives; self-healing properties according to the electron density on the furan pendant group via reversible Diels-Alder reaction |
초록 |
To study the influence of different electron density of furan pendant groups on self-healing efficiency, two-types of furan functionalized polymethacrylate were polymerized through free-radical polymerization. The DA reactivities and the self-healing efficiencies of the polymethacrylates were evaluated by various analyses. It could be presented that relatively high electron density in furan pendant group leads to the increase in the DA reactivity, resulting in the improvement on healing efficiency in the self-healing system. |
