제목 A Conjugated Polyelectrolyte, Poly(N-[(1,3-dioxolane)-2-methyl]-2-ethynylpyridinium bromide) from the Activated Polymerization of 2-Ethynylpyridine using 1,3-Dioxolane Derivatives
초록 Ionically conducting polymers are of great interest because they exhibit ionic and electronic conductivities. The conjugated polyelectrolytes contain both cationic and anionic groups. Of the many interesting conjugated polymers, the pyridine-based conjugated polymers have been used as material candidate for light-emitting diodes, organic solar cells, chemical sensors, etc. Here, ionic conjugated polyelectrolytes were prepared by the activation polymerization of 2-ethynylpyridine by using the alkyl bromides with dioxaolane moieties. The structures of conjugated polyelectrolytes were characterized by such instrumental methods as NMR, IR, and UV-visible spectroscopies to have the conjugated polymer backbone with the designed dioxolanel substituents.
