Considerable reflectivity, surface metalized, flexible Polyimide/Ag nanocomposite films were prepared by simply thermal reduction method using silver-diethylcarbamate. Poly(amic acid) solutions were prepared from 3,3',4,4'-benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) and 4,4'-oxydianiline (ODA) into dimethylacetamide (DMAc). Through thermal curing cycle, the silver-doped polyimide film progressed silver reduction, surface aggregation and migration. These process leads to high reflective, thermal stability, abrasion resistant property and electrical conductivity. The polyimide/Ag nanocomposite films were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), UV-Vis, FT-IR, and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). |
