Improved hydrophobic behavior of PET thin film by physico-chemical treatment |
초록 |
In this study, hydrophobic thin films were prepared by using a various alkoxy silane and fluorination treatment. Three different trialkoxy alkyl silanes, trimethoxy methyl silane, trimethoxy propyl silane, and hexadecyl trimethoxy silane, were used to enhance surface roughness of the film and lower surface energy. Fluorination was carried out sequentially for further decrease in the film surface energy. Surface chemical changes of the modified films were characterized by XPS and hydrophobicity and oleophobicity of the films were also evaluated using contact angle measurements. |
