제목 Enhanced Thermal Conductivity Approaches for Polymer Composites
초록 Polymer composites consisting of different polymers and ceramic particles were prepared and then the effects of the filler size, shape, and their combination on the thermal conductivity and mechanical properties were analyzed. Thermal conductivity of the composites increased with the use of polymer matrix with high degree of order and larger fillers. The combination of two or three different fillers can lead to high thermal conductivity. Various mechanical properties of thermoplastic and thermoset composites such as tensile strength, adhesion strength, and impact strength were presented in a manner depending on its applications. It is realized that the selection of appropriate materials and their combination is prerequisite to adjust the thermal conductivity and mechanical properties of polymer composites.
