Two-photon absorption (TPA) phenomenon is a third non-linear optical process with many promising applications. In this study, TPA compounds based on ethylhexyl methoxy phenylene amine (EMPA) with several donor groups were synthesized and measured their optical properties in the organic solvents and water by one photon process. TPA cross-sections (TPACS) of compounds were determined by using fluorescence two-photon excitation method. The TPACS of EMPA-4Branch showed the highest value in voth solutions. Bioimages of HeLa cell were investigated by EMPA-4Br and PASN by two-photon excitation using femto-second laser. The 3D microstructures were fabricated by two-photon photopolymerization using SU8 resin containing EMPA derivatives, respectively. In this poster, we will discuss the detailed results dealing with effective bioimaging and two-photon 3D stereolithography. |
