Synthesis of conjugated polymers (PTIDTBT, PTIFDTBT and PTIDFDTBT) containing TTI as electron pushing unit and fluorinated DTBT electron pulling unit for organic solar cells |
초록 |
Polymers utilizing thieno[2,3-b]indole (TI) with a high planarity were synthesized and used as photovoltaic cells. Conjugated polymers (PTIDTBT, PTIFDTBT and PTIDFDTBT) including TTI as electron pushing groups and fluorinated DTBT as electron pulling group were designed. we synthesized a thieno[2,3-b]indole (TI) derivatives containing a weak electron donating unit which has deep highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level for high open-circuit voltages (VOC). The polymers with the electron pushing group and the electron pulling group were synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction with Pd(0)-catalyst. The device comprising PTIDFDTBT with 3% CN additive showed VOC of 0.91 V, a JSC of 6.67 mA/cm2, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.37, giving a power conversion efficiency of 2.24%. |
