제목 Dispersion Study of Plume Phenomenon for Cooling Tower using Sea Water
초록 Cooling towers are widely used in the plant to transfer the heat load directly to the atmosphere by exposing water directly to the air. Selection among various types of cooling towers depends on construction cost. Generally, Evaporative Cooling Tower with Induced Fan is selected in view point of economic value. As the cooling tower becomes bigger, plume problems occur in the cooling water and it becomes necessary to check the effect on the plume. In this report, plume occurrence phenomena according to the air temperature, humidity, and cooling tower specifications of induced type cooling tower is investigated using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD).
