초록 |
Having the ability to exert control over the morphology of nanomaterials has always been desired and essential to tune their physicochemical property for target applications. In particular, chalcogen and metal chalcogenide nanomaterials have been strongly studied for diverse fields such as thermoelectrics, optoelectronics, solar cell, and Li ion battery. This study highlights the common solution-based synthesis of 1D and 2D nanomaterials (chalcogen & metal chalcogenide) and different synthetic approaches based on four different growth mechanisms: I) Intrinsically anisotropic growth II) Growth by surface energy control III) Oriented attachment IV) Chemical transformation. We discuss current understanding of the thermodynamic and kinetic aspects associated with the mechanisms of forming the anisotropic nanomaterials. Some applications (thermoelectric, photodetector) made by using as-synthesized nanomaterials are briefly provided in this presentation. |
