Titanium Carbide MXenes with Specific Functional Groups as Platinum Supports |
초록 |
MXenes possess attractive high conductivity, and durability for application in electrocatalysis. Tailored Ti3C2 has been actively employed as promising support candidates in Pt-loaded catalytic systems to improve the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). It is noted that the effect of different surface functional groups, which may play a crucial role to optimize the interaction with loaded Pt nanoparticles, has not been investigated to date. 3D wrinkled Ti3C2(OH)x and Ti3C2Ox were prepared after the alkali-induced process. 3D MXene with high concentration of -F groups (Ti3C2Fx) were prepared by mixing with HF. Distinct electrochemical properties were obtained due to diverse terminations on the surface of Ti3C2. In this work we direct our attention to the effect of these surface functional groups on the resulting interactions with Pt to improve the electrocatalytic activity of Pt-loaded Ti3C2 materials toward HER. |
