Effect of molecular structure and composition on properties of silicone-based hydrogels |
초록 |
Silicon-based hydrogels have been studied owing to their promising applications in the field of biomaterials such as tissue engineering, artificial organs, drug delivery, and contact lens. It had been well known that high equilibrium swelling in water or saline solutions for crosslinked hydrogel polymers could be based exclusively on macromolecules with high hydrophilicity and flexibility. During the development of silicon-based hydrogels, we report effect of molecular structure and composition to get silicon-based hydrogels with an optimal balance of properties. |
