제목 Synthesis of Hyperbranched Polyglycidol-b-Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) for Temperature Sensitive Drug Delivery System
초록 Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) p(NIPAM) is interesting polymer that in aqueous solution it undergoes phase transition upon the lower critical solution temperature (LCST). Because LCST of p(NIPAM) is near the room temperature, it is used widely for application of smart thermoresponsive materials. N-isopropylacrylamide were polymerized by nitroxide-mediated polymerization (NMP) using hyperbranched polyglycidol-terminated 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy nitroxide (TEMPO). For initiating NMP, hyperbranched polyglycidol-terminated TEMPO were synthesized via click chemistry using hyperbranched polglycidol partially modified with azide group and 4-alkynyl TEMPO previously modified from 4-hydroxy TEMPO. NMP process using N-isopropylacrylamide would be controlled by extent of modification of hydroxyl group in HBP or by the structure and molecular weight of the HBP.
