Polyacrylonitrile (PAN)-b-Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) copolymers / CNT composite films for gas separation membrane |
초록 |
Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) has been widely used in the field of membranes due to its good mechanical property. Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) has high affinity with CO2. PAN-b-PEO diblock copolymers were synthesized and characterized by small-angle neutron scattering experiments and mechanical property measurement. The permeability of CO2, other gases like O2, CH4, N2, etc. were measured for copolymer films. Carbon nanotube (CNT) was also added to PAN-b-PEO films to enhance the mechanical and membrane properties. We report the effect of CNT and PEO addition on variation of properties on copolymer composite membrane. |
