Recently, Anti-fingerprint property is one of the emotional quality of products to be considered in eletronics industry. Color analysis was used for quantitative evaluation of anti-fingerprint on the surface of plastic specimens using Scion image software which is a digital graphic program. To understand a correlation between anti-fingerprint property and plastic surfaces, water contact angle and color difference measurements were also performed. In addition, Artificial fingerprints for the quantitative evaluation were prepared by using artificial liquid, a scanner for color analysis. As a result of test, we could quantify the area of fingerprint as a percentage and correlation between color difference and anti-fingerprint property was established and discussed. |
