제목 Enhanced Photostability of Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles in Aqueous Media by Shattering a Phase-separated Film of a Conjugated Polymer and a Phospholipid
초록 We show that conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CPNs) dispersed in aqueous media show remarkable photostability owing to their assembly structure of the conjugated polymer (PCPDTBT) and phospholipid(DOPC) within the nanoparticles. PCPDTBT and D8PC formed phase-separated films through removal of solvent due to the differences in the physical properties between the polar lipid heads and the remaining hydrophobic moieties and the packing between the alkyl lipid tails and side chains of the conjugated polymer. CPNs were prepared via film shattering process by using ultrasonication of the solution after adding the water to the phase-separated films. We demonstrated significantly enhanced photostability of CPNs by solar simulator and UV-vis spectroscopy. The relations between the structure and photostability of CPNs was underpinned by structural information concerning the CPNs obtained from GIXD support.
