제목 Fabrication of chitosan based nanofibers mat with highly hemostatic function
초록 In this study, we demonstrated the synergetic effects of gelatin blending and porosity and pore size control for enhance the hemostatic function of chitosan nanofibers. The basic characterization such as surface morphology, mechanical properties, and wettability of chitosan/gelatin nanofibers mat were performed. Furthermore, we evaluated a synergistic effect between the gelatin with hydrophilic and sonication treatment that improved hemostatic function (blood clot study) and excellent cell affinity (adhesion and migration). In conclusion, our findings indicate that sonicated chitosan/gelatin nanofibers mat are promising candidates for use as three-dimensional tissue engineering scaffolds as well as hemostatic wound dressings.
