제목 Effects of Electroless Nickel Plating on Thermal Properties and Electrical Conductivity of PAN-based Carbon Fibers
초록 In this work, the effects of electroless Nickel plating on thermal properties and electrical conductivity of PAN-based carbon fibers has been investigated. The surface properties of the carbon fibers were determined by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The electrical conductivity was measured with four-point probe method. And thermal properties were measured using the surface temperature measuring apparatus. The experimental results showed that thermal properties of Ni-plated PAN-based carbon fibers were related to the electrical conductivity and it was enhanced with increasing plating time and thickness of Ni-layers.
