Direct printing process such as Inkjet and R2R (gravure, flexo, offset, etc.) is rapidly being on the rise as an alternative to the conventional process of vacuum, etching and photolithography, because it enables mass and large-area production as well as flexible goods with low pollution (environment-friendly) especially in the field of electronics and displays. This presentation will introduce and discuss the current trends of electronic inks including our technologies developed recently. In addition, it will be shown that our new type (transparent) of silver-based inks as well as newly established R2R printing facilities, are giving the diverse prototype and some commercialized products with flexible substrates such as various type of antennas for RFID tag and cellular phone, FPCB, (patterned) electrodes (display, battery, solar cell, etc), EMI film and mesh filter, reflective film for LCD BLU, (semi-transparent) conductive film, FCCL, sensor, printed memory, and so on. |
