The direct chemical synthesis of PANI/Pt proceeds through the oxidation of aniline by PtCl6-2 in the absence of a secondary oxidant. To find an optimal condition, we performed this work by changing synthesis condition such as monomer concentration, Pt content and doping acid species. The crystalline and morphological structures of PANI/Pt were evaluated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The electrochemical behaviors of PANI/Pt for methanol oxidation were investigated according to their characteristic currentvoltage curves in a methanol solution. |
