제목 Anticoagulant activity of heparin analogues on fibrin formation characterized by QCM-Z and AFM
초록 The anticoagulant function of heparin has been well known as heparin plays an important role by accelerating inhibition of fibrin formation more than 1,000 folds. After the role of heparin was highlighted, heparin-like materials have been paid attention to improve blood-compatibility of biomaterials. In the present study we prepared sulfonated PEO and sulfonated chitosan as the heparin-like materials and their anticoagulant activities were studied quantitatively by using QCM-Z and AFM. QCM-Z technique allowed simultaneous measurements of the mass change and the viscoelastic property of fibrin layers under various conditions. AFM was used to characterize the final morphology of polymerized fibrin layers.
