제목 무독성 Zn-AgInS2 발광나노입자 합성 및 LED 응용
초록 Cd based II-VI semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) have been widely investigated for application in photonic and electronic devices because of their high quantum yield, and wavelength tunability in visible region. However, due to the toxicity of Cadmium, developments of non-toxic I-II-VI chalcopyrite NCs are strongly demanded.
In this study, Cd-free Zn doped AgInS2 NCs were synthesized by using indium acetate, silver nitrate, sulfur powder, dodecanethiol, and zinc stearate, and employed on LED color converter. The size of obtained NCs were about ~10nm, and the emission peak was moved from 640nm to 545nm with increasing the Zn doping ratio. Also, Zn doping significantly enhanced the quantum yield over 5 times compared to AgInS2 NCs. The detailed structural and optical properties were investigated by measuring the XRD, UV-vis, and PL. Furthermore, ZnAgInS2 NCs were combined with GaN based LED chip, and emission characteristics were studied.
