제목 The effect of cationic polyvinylalcohol on barrier property of layer by layer self-assembly film    
초록 Layer by Layer (LbL) film has been prepared by self-assembly method by electrostatic interaction between monolayers such as polyelectrolyte and inorganic material. In these layered film, the barrier level was enhanced by the tortuous pathway due to the extension of molecular diffusion length. Among the many substances, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) has been known as a high barrier material with low cost. But pristine PVA charged almost zero, it is difficult to apply into self-assembly LbL film.  
In this study, in order to grant functional charge potential in PVA, cationic PVA (cPVA) was synthesized using a positive charge control agent. In particular, the facile spin-spray method was introduced to fabricate the LbL film and analyzed their gas barrier level through oxygen transmission rate.
