The dielectric properties and morphologies of polymer (Polyphenyleneoxide, PPO) wrapped barium titanate particles were investigated. Dielectric properties of composites were compared with content of filler, particle size of filler. Barium titanate particles with 300 nm, 450 nm, and 1000 nm were prepared by using the wrapping method. Wrapped particles shapes and morphologies were analyzed by Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). Dielectric properties were measured through coaxial transmission method by vector network analyzer (VNA). The dielectric properties are increased as the content of filler is higher and the particle size smaller. PPO wrapped barium titanate structure have low loss tan δ. |
