제목 Computational Screening for Adsorption of NOx (x = 1,2) on Alkaline Earth Metals and Transition Metals
초록 NOx component of automobile exhaust has been a very important issue because it is pointed out as a typical component that causes acid rain and air pollution. Therefore, many previous studies have been carried out to remove NOx substance through adsorption. The adsorption has proceeded mainly on the surfaces of alkaline earth metal oxides or transition metals. In this study, we used density functional theory (DFT) calculations to perform the screening of candidate materials with low cost and stability that can be used as good NOx adsorbents. This study will provide extensive database of NOx adsorption on metals or metal oxides.
