제목 UCOT Diblock Copolymers with Compressibility Difference between Blocks
초록 A compressible random-phase approximation (cRPA) approach is employed to develop a mean-field Landau free energy suitable for a UCOT-type diblock copolymer with compressibility difference between blocks. The inhomogeneity of free volume as well as that of the density of each block is analyzed in the weakly segregated regime. The free volume inhomogeneity is considered to appear in the two-fold ways : excess free volume is located either at microphase domains rich in a more compressible component or at the interface between the domains for screening. The phase diagram for the copolymer with all the classical microphase morphologies is constructed. It is shown that the compressibility difference allows no critical point for the UCOT copolymer system even in this mean-field analysis. The pressure effects on various transition temperatures are additionally discussed.
