Evaluation of crosslinking properties of HDPE/EVA/PU blends with radiation process condition |
초록 |
Radiation crosslinking technique can be improved the polymer physical properties, such as heat resistance and mechanical properties, by forming three-dimensional network structures. In addition, the efficiency of radiation crosslinking can be improved to a considerable degree by selection of polymer and by tight control of irradiation conditions to prevent oxidative degradation of the polymer. In this study, the HDPE/EVA/PU blends are crosslinked using electron beam or gamma-ray irradiation. Electron beams with energies 2.5 and 10 MeV were used. Gamma rays are used with the self disintegration of Cobalt-60 (60Co). The gel fraction, thermal shrinkage and tensile strength of samples were confirmed. |
