제목 Assessment of tropical crops waste fibers for the production of bio-flour filled polypropylene and poly(butylene succinate) bio-composites
초록 Wastes from agricultural production represent an abundant, low-cost source of raw materials for the development of bio-composites materials. Cassava and pineapple are two major crops in Thailand, which generate large quantities of fiber residues during processing. Bio-composites made from polypropylene (PP) or poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) compounded with pineapple skin fibers, cassava root fibers and cassava non-destarched root fibers were prepared by twin-screw extrusion. followed by characterization of their mechanical-thermal properties and morphological study.
